RIMS Medical Society is a purely academic forum. Since its inception it has been providing an immense value towards the enrichment of academic and research activities in the institute. On the 3^rd Saturday of every month, a Scientific Session involving all the departments of the Institute is organized. Besides, from time to time the Society organizes a scientific platform to deliver lectures on various topics by nationally and internationally eminent scientist from within and outside the country.

Oriinal articles consist of the studies of different professionals and doctors about the various diseases, infections etc. They also state the objective of their study, the methods they used in treatments, the results they get after treatment and the conclusions they come to after their study. Case reports consist of the various cases which are rare or which draws attention of doctors since may be theyg need to be studied thoroughly.

This journal is a medical journal published three times a year by the medical society of RIMS, Imphal. It is indexed in EXERPTA, DATABASES, ELSIEVER, Amsterdam and it is registered as Newspaper in India.
